This battery uses the latest and greatest cell from Amprius - the SA08, which offers 360Wh/Kg of energy density (vs LiPo's 200Wh/Kg and Lithium Ion's 230Wh/Kg), which means it can add up to 80% more flight time vs a LiPo battery and up to 57% more flight time than a Lithium Ion battery. If this battery is discharged faster than 451 watts constant (less than 12 minutes) and is not actively cooled, it will overheat.
